Attention, electric car users!
Dear electric car users, have you heard the latest news? Austria’s largest charging park is currently being built at the Amstetten West motorway exit (A1 Westautobahn) – covered with semi-transparent modules from ertex solar! With a total output of over 20 kWp, the 22 PV glass panels, each 5 metres long, supply electricity for your vehicle while protecting it from the sun and rain.
Not sure whether our modules are suitable for your own roofing? Here’s your chance to see them in place and experience the feeling of being underneath them for yourself.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to our project partners, above all MHB – Holz und Bau GmbH im Mostviertel and Pholtec GmbH, for their excellent cooperation.
The Engage PV project is part of Green Energy Lab, a research initiative for sustainable energy solutions within the framework of the Austrian innovation offensive ‘Vorzeigeregion Energie’ (Energy Showcase Region) of the Climate and Energy Fund. https://greenenergylab.at/projects/engage-pv/
Yes, we go by bike!
Not only electric cars can be charged with electricity from our modules, e-bikes can also draw new, green energy from them. An exemplary pioneer is the BIKETOWER system in the Czech Republic. This innovative solution protects bicycles from weather, damage and theft, while still allowing owners to access them at any time. At the latest BIKETOWER in Nymburk, which was built right next to the local train station, 28 PV modules from ertex solar were integrated into the façade. With an output of 9.6 kWp, they cover the entire energy requirements of the facility and also enable e-bikes to recharge their batteries while the bikes are safely stored.
