THE SUN AS THE BUILDING’S ENVELOPE

a perfect symbiosis of aesthetic and energy production

We are proud to present another completed project in Switzerland. The existing solar houses with our photovoltaic modules in Reichenburg have grown – the new buildings shine from a distance, because they were equipped with golden balcony modules from ertex solar. The balconies not only look good, but also have a total output of 40 kWp. In total, 225 modules with golden print on the front side were installed here, and the result is truly impressive, in our opinion.

READING MATERIAL FOR ARCHITECTURE ENTHUSIASTS

article about the company building of Rhiienergie AG

Looking for new reading material? You’re in luck, a very detailed article on one of our projects in Switzerland – the company building of Rhiienergie AG, has been published in the Swiss architecture magazine Solaris! Unfortunately, it is only available in German, French and Italian.

At first glance everyone will probably notice the building’s photovoltaic roof. But only the attentive observer (extremely attentive and perhaps with some assistance) will notice that the facade also consists of photovoltaic modules. This completes the energy production to meet the energy needs of the building. So not only does the building look great, but it produces its own solar power with the help of multiple surfaces.

Take a look behind the scenes of the newly built headquarters of the energy provider Rhiienergie AG in Tamins. What could be more representative for an energy supplier than to produce its own electricity with the building envelope?
